It’s HOT outside!

It may be hot outside, but we are cool in the Library!  Several shipments of new adult books have arrived and are now on the shelf!  We also have many new beginner readers, as well as Jr Fiction and Young Adult fiction now in! So stay cool this week and come “check us out!”

Summer Reading Prizes!

Our prizes will be set up and ready to find new homes on Monday, July 25th! From then until Friday, July 29th, you may bring in your book logs, making sure you have all your materials turned in and fines paid, and pick your prize! There are lots of goodies to choose from!

Then, on Thursday, August 4th, come on down to the pool and enjoy a swim from 6 pm – 8 pm.  The Library will pay for those who have completed the Summer Reading progam. Parents and siblings are welcome to join, they will cost $1.50 to get in, with ages 3 and under being free.  Miss Sandra will also have a few goodies to hand out before we head home that night! Our swim parties are always lots of fun, so please be sure to make plans to attend!

Special Thanks!

We would like to give special thanks to those who donated to our Summer Reading Program this year.  Their contributions helped in the incentives for our young people to read.  It is very important for children to read through out the summer, as it’s proven that it keeps their reading levels consistant when they go back to school in the fall. Those who do not read in the summer, lose  reading comprehension. So thank you again to:
