2nd-Read Across Amercia Day/Dr. Seuss Birthday   We will be giving out Dr. Seuss goodies, and you might just see Cat in the Hat and a Thing or Two!
3rd–Storytime 10 a.m. ages 0-6
6th–Crafternoon 1 p.m.-Billie will show us how to make a cute paper bag album for favorite recipes.
8th and 15th-Adult color 10-1
Spring Break Week:

22nd: Play Day! We will have treats, Games, puzzles, coloring and more! 10a.m. – 12 p.m. All ages!

Summer Reading is coming up fast!  This year’s theme is “Libraries ROCK!”. We will have more information coming up in April here in the Chronicle, our Facebook page, and in the Library.

Spring Scholastic Book Fair
March 26th– April 6th: Come and choose the latest and greatest that Scholastic books has to offer! All purchases can be assigned to your choice of teacher at the local grade school. The class with the most amount of $$ by the end of the Fair will be treated to a class party! Second place class will win a number of age appropriate books for their classroom library. ***All USD#436 employees will receive a 10% discount.

Thursday April 2nd, All USD#436 employees will receive a 20% discount between 7am and 1pm and 3pm to 6 pm on the Spring Scholastic Book Fair.

April 7th Book Talk 5-7 p.m.
Local author, Andy Taylor, will be in the Library to talk about, autograph and sell his new book, Independence (Images of America). Get your copy of this interesting and beautiful book.

April 12th – 18th National Library Week!

Do you want to play a game? Come in and put in your guess as to how many materials our Library has to lend. Winner will be announced on Monday, April 20th.
