Arvest donation for Summer Reading

Our Summer Reading donations were way down this year and our staff was getting creative with the funds we had to put on a good program for the kids that enroll. Thanks to Arvest bank we can do much more for the kids this year!

We have different reading programs for ages 4 and up. With all that signed up we have 70 participants this year. With the extra we received from Arvest bank, we are giving all that signed up a book! We will also have pizza parties for the classes that meet every week in June and Personal Pan coupons from Pizza Hut will be given to those participating in our alternate program. All participants will also receive free ice cream coupons from Sonic and one free swim pass for the Caney City Pool along with a goody bag of assorted items.

Our volunteers will also receive free Personal Pan coupons.
Whatever is left after all of that will be put into next year’s Summer Reading program. With that money we will be able to order next year’s items when they become available in October of this year.

On behalf of the Caney City Library Board and staff, thank you Arvest bank for making this year’s Summer Reading program awesome!
