Zombie Walk this Saturday!

It’s time to come out and have some fun with the Caney Zombie Walk! The cost to register is a donation of $7.00. You may dress as a zombie, a survivor, or just come and enjoy the festivities. There will be booths set up at the park for all kinds of no cost fun! Stop by the SEK Bordertown Paranormal booth and enter for a chance to win a ride along with them on a ghost hunt! Learn about Disaster Preparedness, see Fred the Disaster Preparedness dog, see the final plans for the new library, watch a karate demonstration, let the kids bowl, or stop by Butterfly Kisses Candy Bouquet and load up on some candy. The festivities start at $11:30 and should be done by 3. Afterward, Mayor McClure will have a fun a little community event. It will begin when the Zombie Walk has finished awarding their prizes. Sign up will be at the park. The cost is $5.00 per person. When you sign up you will be given a clue and the goal will be to figure out your clues faster than anyone else. This will involve some walking so wear comfy shoes.

So come out and enjoy the day and support your local library!
